Java Developer

Job Description

Java developer needed for finance institution must have very specific skills,

Namely-

Android SDK, BlackBerry SDK, Java, J2ME and C/C++/Obj-C

Experience with:

Java on BlackBerry Android

J2ME iPhone

Codecs Jitter Buffer

Packet loss + packet loss concealment Delay

XMPP and MIME protocol development SIP and VOIP

TCP/IP & UDP

Understanding of Networking, specifically GSM Must have good experience in http/socket based communication.

Experience with client-server based frameworks Object-orientated design patterns are your second nature Open Source products (Linux, JBoss, Ant, Axis, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)

Duties:

Collaborate with Solution Architects in the design of product architecture

Develop new products against business requirements and the solution design

Develop major enhancements for existing products in production

Fix escalated bugs for existing products in production

Share technical knowledge among peers

Mentor more junior developers

Where suitable take developmental lead on specific projects.

Education:

A BSc or BTech degree is beneficial.
