Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science preferred
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for Architecture of all Java development projects
Responsible for the Architecture of a complex integration project.
Defined and enforced technical standards, guidelines and best practices.
Advising on the selection and use of appropriate design standards, methods, patterns and tools.
Responsible for performing quality check during the project lifecycle.
Ensuring an adequate level of training and up-skilling for their legacy developers into Java.
Implemented SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) using Web Services.
Creating both inbound and outbound web services to integrate with external applications.
UML modelling and applying J2EE design patterns like Service Locator, Session Façade and Business Delegate, Application Service, Data Transfer Object (DTO), Data Access Object pattern (DAO) and Value Object Pattern (VO).
