Java, Android and Google App Engine Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a Java, Android and Google App Engine developer.

Seeking a self motivated individual that can lead a small team of engineers through design meetings, coding sessions and deployment process. We have high standards and take pride in our work.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has a passion for learning and applying new technical knowledge.

We prefer someone who is comfortable writing efficient database schemas, clean and efficient back-end code, and gets excited about user interface and interaction design.

Required skills:

• Strong experience in Android SDK, Google App Engine, and Java

• Comfortable with GWT, JDO, Maven, Eclipse, and SpringSource/Roo

• Competent in normalization, ORM, database design and performance

• Can create complex networking topologies and protocols

• Ability to lead small team of engineer through design process

• Comfortable reviewing Java code and identifying areas of decomposition

• Ability to quickly learn and implement unfamiliar technologies

• Team oriented with excellent communications and interpersonal skill

Desirable skills

• Significant experience developing web applications

• Experience writing server-side APIs

• Collaborative, upbeat and intuitive attitude to take ownership and have fun

• Experience in Objective-C for iPhone and iPad

• Worked with Adobe Flex and Adobe AIR SDK
