Job Description
A fast-growing and innovative company with offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Lagos, Nairobi and London are looking for a J2EE Architect to join them ASAP.
Requirements:
BSc Degree
Minimum of 5 years experience
Extensive experience in Java Enterprise Edition..
Extensive experience in the Microsoft technologies (architecture and language)
Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server and J-Developer
Experience in Web Services
Experience in full systems development life-cycle
Experience in requirements analysis and configuration management
Experience with the design and development of customized software application development
Experience with Oracle Database technologies (9i - 11g) and Microsoft SQL Server
Experience in thick java client applications as well as web based application
Duties:
The J2EE Architect will be responsible for the designing and maintaining of J2EE and other non Oracle Applications. The J2EE Architect is responsible for ensuring coding best practices and standards are enforced with in the development teams.
The J2EE Architect works with the SOA Architect ensuing that the design and development of services meet prescribed best practices for the environment.
