Job Description
This large Bank seeks an experienced Chartered Accountant to take up the Internal Audit Manager position. Responsible for Auditing the Governance, Financial, Business & Operational Processes at Divisional & Business Unit level.
Qualifications:
CA (SA) / CIA essential.
Having served an article period and 5 years experience in Banking and Financial services or 5 years experience in Internal Audit or Risk Management a prerequisite.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure quality delivery of department services, in accordance with professional standards (e.g., IIA, ISACA, IFRS).
Allocate resources for assigned area based on risk, quality, and cost/benefit analyses and meet resource budgets, including time, staffing, and financial budgets.
Attending GIA EXCO meetings and participating accordingly.
