Job Description
An International manufacturer of electronic components and solutions, based in Johannesburg North, is urgently looking for an IT Software Specialist. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with BaaN, Super Office and Crystal Reporting. Excellent Communication skills are essential as the position will include interacting regularly with Germany on all software updates.
Responsibilities:
• Administration and the maintenance of:
BaaN (EDP),
Mail Serve (Lotus Notes/Damo/Outlook),
Super Office (CRM system),
Crystal Reporting
Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES)
• Provide IT system support to regional offices
• Continuous review of IT systems so as to ensure Company is corporate compliant and efficient
• Training and knowledge transfer of the software to the end users
• Implementation of any new systems as required
Qualifications and Experience:
• A minimum of matric, along with an additional diploma or tertiary education in system architecture.
• A good working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Knowledge of BaaN IV would be advantageous
• A sufficient background exceeding 5 years in the IT systems arena is required
