IS Specialist

Job Description

Exciting new opportunity for experienced Security Specialist with our well established client. If you have experience in ITIL and Cobit, have knowledge in IT Systems and IT risks then this is the job for you.

Responsibilities:

Performing assurance reviews

Engaging and planning with management with regards to audits

Audits on: Information Security; IT System Security; Application Security; IT Process, etc.

Coordinating with the Enterprise Risk Management function, as well as performing risk assessments to determine the key risks and controls

Utilizing specialist knowledge to define and perform control adequacy and effectiveness testing

Reporting on the findings and facilitate risk response discussions with management

Performing follow ups on a quarterly basis regarding the resolution of significant findings and report back to the Audit Committee

Information security risk analysis

Increasing the understanding of information security risks within the company

Provide assistance during cyber related crime investigations

Participating in knowledge sharing activities and widening the understanding of risk factors throughout the department

Building client relationships and credibility

Minimum Requirements:

BSc (Computer Science) or BCom (Information Systems)

CISSP and / or CISM (or busy studying towards)

Fully proficient with the MS Office package

Minimum 3 year experience in Information Security

Exposure within an Audit environment (recommendation)
