Geometrics design Engineer / Technologist

Job Description

A vacancy exists for a Geometrics Design Engineer/Technologist to commence duties in Pietermaritzburg in the Transport Sector.

Main responsibilities :

• Geometric design

• Preparation of quantities and input into tender documents

• Liaison with members of the professional team including project team members

• Adhere to quality procedures and standards

• Mentorship/ coaching of junior staff

Minimum qualifications and experience :

• BSc/BEng Civil OR BTech Civil

• 5- 8 years experience geometrics (civil engineering) field;

• Excellent report writing and presentation skills are essential.

• Proficiency in Civil Designer and AutoCAD
