General Manager – Exploration (Diamond)

Job Description

Hire Resolve is helping a Mining Company in DRC look for a competent General Manager for the Diamond Exploration.

The General manager is responsible to explore the mining location of Diamonds in DR Congo, drive the exploration and the strategy of the same, while spearheading the acquisitions of more such assets. You should be able to develop strategies for mining and evacuation.

This role requires working experience in exploration of Diamonds; have been engaged in systematic mine planning, process and quality control, preparing geological reports and mining plan. Candidates with Masters Degree in Geology/Geomining / Ecology and Environment or M.Tech in Applied Geology/Geotechnology, with around 20 years of relevant experience in exploration of Diamonds. Candidate should be good in communication in English & French. Ready for travel extensively at remote site location.
