GCC Engineering Manager - Cape Town

Job Description

Engineering Manager (with a GCC Factories) needed for a manufacturing company in Cape Town.

Requirements:

Must have a Government Certificate of Competency (Factories)

Qualified Trade Artisan with a National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

A minimum of 5 years maintenance management experience (preferably in a FMCG environment with Refrigeration)

Experience in formulating and implementing maintenance structures

Ability to co-ordinate a range of maintenance functions in a multi-disciplined maintenance environment

Persuasive communication and negotiating skills

Ability to build effective relationships at all levels

Broad experience in projects and contracts management will be advantageous

Proven experience in budget management

Advanced computer literate (including AutoCAD & MS Project 2000)

Must have proven interpersonal and leadership skills

Must be well versed in preventative maintenance

Ensures compliance with Health & Safety Legislation

At least 10 years experience in a similar role is necessary.
