Overview

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join their team in Cape Town. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding of electrical systems and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and installing of solar PV systems (including electrical wiring, mounting of inverters and panels)
  • Site visits and assessments on existing installations to either expand existing solar installations or to design solar systems.
  • Be current with solar / generator equipment and assist clients with backup power solutions
  • Be up to date with Sans 1014
  • Must be a team leader, and ability to supervise multiple jobs / teams, ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified 3-phase electrician
  • Based in and around Cape Town
  • Wireman’s license
  • Be current on the solar industry
  • Experience with generators
  • Able to plan, and work alone if required
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Able to prioritize
  • Proven experience as an Electrician
