Electrical C&I Engineer

Job Description

Engineering Consulting firm looking for Electrical and Control & Instrumentation Designer or Senior Designer for a vacancy in their Johannesburg office.

Capability:

- Formal training in AutoCAD and Microstation V8 and other related software with extensive experience related to the above

- PLS-CADD experience will be an added advantage

- Design experience in;

• Small power and LV,

• MV reticulation for residential developments and building services

• Mine reticulation

• Intelligent and hardwired Motor Control Centers (MCC)

• Substation design (Primary and secondary plant including – protection, metering, control, SCADA, telecoms and so on)

• Reticulation lines hardware and specifications

• Sub transmission and transmission line design.

Candidates with the following abilities and related working knowledge will be preferred.

• Working knowledge of Control and Instrumentation design

• P&ID diagram design

• Working knowledge of intelligent P&ID design software in plant and mining
