Credit Manager

Job Description

Leading mining client is looking for a Credit Manager in Durban

Establish and maintain sound interpersonal relationships with the various internal and external customers to ensure the achievement of business goals.

Minimise bad debts through the review and construction of sound credit policies and ensuring productive and efficient collection techniques.

Effective Credit Control Management by ensuring adequate control of debt collection and maintaining budgeted debtors day.

Effective and timeous month end processing with particular reference to the production of month end statements and the reconciliation of the age analysis and relevant control accounts

Effective Management of legal processes by handing customers over to attorney for collection and where necessary institute litigation in consultation with the Admin Manager.

Management of the credit Insurance cover

People Management and Development

Prepare and manage the budget in line with company’s financial policies and procedures

Minimum 7 years credit control experience

Ability to manage a large debtors book

5 years previous Managerial Experience
