Coal Mining Manager

Job Description

A Limpopo based company, a key player in the coal and minerals sands globally, is currently looking to fill the vacant role of Coal Mining Manager.

Applicants must have a minimum of a BSc Mining Engineering or B Eng (Mining),a Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency, 8 years relevant underground coal mining experience (blasting, stoping, long/short wall, conventional and continuous mining). A post graduate qualification in business management as well as relevant professional body membership (ECSA/SACEA) is recommended.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that the client’s business plan contributes to their overall success , that the critical input to the mining plan is in accordance with the life of the mine plan and will need to manage the budget and cost within the required framework.
