Chief Electrician (HDSA)

Job Description

A global leader in mining based in Gauteng is urgently seeking a Chief Electircian to lead their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an exceptional company. The successful candidate will be expected to manage the safe installation, maintenance and proper operation of all machinery and equipment related to the underground plant including the reticulation system.

Applicants must have at least 10 years experience in mining, a minimum qualification of N6 Electrician, be a qualified Electrician and have worked as an electrical foreman for at least 5 years.Previous management of maintenance systems, experience as supervisor as well as underground experience in a Production and Mining Environment will seal the deal.

Candidates must further be computer literate, have experience in maintenance systems such as CMMIS as well as have a red seal certification or higher technical qualification (essential).
