Job Description

A Cape Town based company is seeking a Junior Developer, with web and application development experience. This is a great opportunity to work with some great new technologies, developing exciting web applications! If you fit the requirements don’t hesitate to forward your CV to us

Qualifications:

Relevant tertiary education, Degree or Diploma

1-year business Objects design experience using designer

C, C++, Java and XML

Must have strong SQL and database knowledge

Data modelling experience essential

Data warehousing experience essential

The following requirements are advantageous but not essential

Sybase IQ Knowledge

Business Objects XI

Experience/knowledge with web site development (PHP, HTML, JavaScript, ColdFusion) and Linux

Duties and Responsibilities:

Produce quality code that is well documented, and in accordance with system and technical specifications

Develop according to clients specifications

Design and Development of Applications

Development of modifications and add-on modules to existing applications

Maintenance and support of Applications
